RATES:

$120 initial fee (covers up to two hours of service)
$50 each additional hour

Any assignment longer than 2 hours in duration, requires 2 interpreters.

If desired, I can contact qualified professionals to see if they are available to team on longer assignments. They will charge the rates stated above and bill directly to you. Travel, parking, metro and tolls are included in the above quoted rates.

SHORT NOTICE FEE:

If a request for an interpreter is made with less than 48 hours notice a short notice fee will be assessed. Please inquire for rates.

CANCELLATIONS:

All cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be billed at the quoted rate for the first two days of the assignment. The above rates will be charged for all interpreters assigned.

Any semester long college course will be billed for the next two weeks worth of class periods for the class that is cancelled.

SPECIALTY ASSIGNMENTS:

Any assignments requiring a special skill set such as performing arts, oral, deaf-blind,  etc. will be charged at a higher rate due to the specialized knowledge and or preparation required to provide the best interpretation possible.  Please inquire with the specifics of your assignment for current rates.

Additionally, assignments that will be broadcast via video recording are also billed at a higher rate.

NON-LOCAL TRAVEL:

I am available for travel outside of the Baltimore/Washington, DC area. Travel costs including hotel, flight, meals, gas, parking, metro, tolls, etc. will be charged to the client at the actual rate costs were incurred at.

If it is a lengthy training or course, I can also arrange for another interpreter to accompany me. They would also ask for reimbursement at cost as is stated above.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

It is the policy of Alissa A. Enders interpreting to arrive to all assignments regardless of weather conditions. If your business chooses to close due to inclement weather, you will be charged for interpreting services unless you cancel 48 hours before the date of the assignment.
